How to play

Start with a red paperclip. Trade your way up to today’s prize.
Each trader swaps once. Some want two things, and some give two.
Many routes reach the prize. Find the shortest.
Shortest route, no undos: three stars. With undos: two.
Press something in your bag to see who wants it. After each trade, Paperclip says who you can trade with next.

Market rules

Most days the market has a rule, shown over your bag. Mondays have none.

Market hours: some stalls pack up after a number of trades, and some open only after a few. Their clock counts down.
Pick one: some traders offer two deals, and make only one of them.
Bonus markets pop up three days a week: longer, with both rules, and free.

Collecting

Everything you hold on your way to a prize goes in your sticker album, on the prize shelf. Fill a page for a gold star.
Festival days have a market of their own, with a badge you can only win that day: Halloween on 31 October, Diwali on 8 November.
